Overview

The V2908MC is an ultra-compact, 1RU single-board Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch specifically optimized for CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) deployments. Designed to deliver high-speed broadband services more efficiently than legacy Ethernet solutions, it is an ideal edge solution for ISPs (Internet Service Providers), branch offices, and small-to-medium enterprises. This high-performance switch features eight 10/100/500/1000BASE-T (RJ45) ports supporting multi-rate capabilities over 2-pair cabling, alongside a dedicated EPON uplink ensuring extended transmission distances and expanded bandwidth. The V2908MC guarantees wire-speed, full-duplex packet processing across all ports and provides the flexible connectivity required for diverse network extensions and advanced service, built on a non-blocking architecture.
