Overview

The V3124VS is a cost effective single-board 5 Gigabit Ethernet switch. It has been designed as ultra-compact customer premise equipment with the reliable Layer 2 functionalities. V3124VS provides 24 5/2.5/1GBase-T/100Base-TX interfaces which support with the RJ45 connectors and 3 uplink interface. It also has a non-blocking architecture and interfaces providing wire-speed and full-duplex packet traffic on all ports. For the uplink interface, it supports 2 10GBase-R (SFP+) and 1 XGS-PON (SFP+) to provide a wider bandwidth and a longer transmission distance. The V3124VS can be used for various application scenarios as L2 GE switch as well as PON L2 Gigabit Multi Dwelling Unit (MDU). As you know, FTTx services requires a very cost effective PON MDU device that is highly integrated and provides all the services need for deployment of tripleplay services to the home.
